Cake Boss

For those of you who have not watched "Cake Boss" you are really missing out. My family has become obsessed with it. They make the most amazing cakes. All the cakes they make are themed and awesome. They make beautiful wedding cakes and things like the Leaning Tower of Pesa. Mitch was inspired to make a cake for my birthday like they do. He worked all day Sunday to make my birthday cake (with the help of my dad also). He decided he wanted to make my cake themed after softball. He did a great Job! Thanks Bud!!!

Hard at work
Look at that concentration!
Me and Larry excited to eat cake

The Creator and his Master Piece

Me and My Cake!

As you can see, it is a whole softball field with a softball going over the fence. It also has a stadium with fans sitting behind home plate, #22 behind the fence (my age), BYU and Yankee flags flying on the fence, birthday candles for foul poles, AVK and an American flag on the side of the cake. Pretty cool huh!

So it's been I while but I think I should probably do a post about our wedding! Our wedding was amazing. We got married in the Salt Lake Temple at One o'clock. We were the last wedding of the day and there hadn't been another wedding since 11 so we had the whole temple and grounds to our self. It was an amazing day. We both were stress free the whole day. We had a lot of friends and family with us, some coming from other states. It was so nice to have that support. Thank you all for coming. It meant so much to us. It was the best day we could ask for. The weather was absolutely beautiful. The cerimony was amazing as well. It was so awesome. I would not get married anywhere else. I love the temple.
We then went to Zions National Park for 4 days. It was so nice to be able to just chill and hike. Larry had never been there before so he was excited. He loves the out doors. He hikes so fast. I couldn't keep up with him. Thanks to an old softball teammates father, we stayed in an amazing room. It was alot of fun.
Then we went down to Newport Beach. Larry had never been to Cali so that was an awesome place to go to. My grandparents hooked us up with a sweet room. My family was down there to so we met up with them a went to Disney Land. We also went a Dodgers game also. It was alot of fun. Our tickets came with all you can eat hot dogs, nochos, drinks, peanuts, etc. It was awesome. And of course the Beach was so much fun.
Anyway, there is a quick re-cap of our wedding and honeymood. It was awesome! I loved it. And I love being married!

Wow It's been awhile

So I haven't updated much... which probably isn't a big suprise to anyone. But here are a few pictures of what I've been doing and some of me and Larry during the little time we get to spend together during my crazy traveling schedule for softball.

We went to this gym with Jake (Larry's best friend), his girlfriend katie (who is one of my best friends sister-in-law's), Steph and Drew. As you can see, jake and larry thought they were pretty cool in the sumo suits.

Steph and katie... aren't they just so cute ha ha ha

I tried to get him to smile but he just couldn't do it for me... He had to pull a face

They had this awesome foam pit. It was lots of fun. but it was kinda hard to get out.

My team went to florida a couple weeks ago and we got to spend a day at disney world!!!! It was alot of fun.
This is my favorite picture. I am a pretty good photographer considering I was hanging out the window.

some of the girls on my team. We were just getting ready to watch the fireworks start

yes it's splash mountain! gotta love that ride

The castle and fireworks are the best part!!! I love disney!!!

I'M ENGAGED!!!!

For all of those who don't know, Larry boy proposed to me on new years eve:) He completely suprised me. I had no idea it was coming. I didn't know he got the ring or talked to my dad. He has been telling me lately that because of his apartment he now has to pay for and his cracked bumper, he wasn't getting a ring for a while because he couldn't afford it. He also kept bringing up the fact that he was scared to talk to my dad. So I definately thought that it wasn't going to happen anytime soon.

Well we were at a new years party at my family's house and his best friend Jake called and told him that he wanted us to meet the "new girl he is dating". We have been wondering about this new girl for a while now so I was really excited to meet her. So we drove to orem to meet them (on the way Larry still talking about not knowing how to ask my dad). Jake told us to meet him at this park. It was the park that me and Larry went to all the time during the summer when we first started dating. We got out and started walking around "looking for Jake." We walked by this pavillion and there was a guitar sitting there. I was like is that your guitar? Larry was like I don't know... he walked over to the guitar an unzipped it and said yeah it is my guitar. My first thought was that Jake was doing some prank on Larry because he loves his guitar and would freak if anything happened to it. Then Larry said, "I actually want to play you a song I wrote for you. I just wanted to come here because I didn't want to play it in front of everyone else." Me thinking he hasn't talked to my dad or bought a ring, I thought he was just doing a cute thing for me. So he played the song he wrote... It is the cutest song ever!!! it's incredible. He asked me how I liked it and told me he loved me... Then he got down on one knee, pulled out a BEAUTIFUL ring and asked me to marry him!!! I immediately say yes:)

When we started walking back to the car I asked him if he talked to my dad. He said he talked to him the day before and it went really well:) We called our moms. My mom didn't answer her phone so after I called 3 times with no answer I decided to call Jill and just ask to talk to my mom. So I finally got to tell her.

We then went back to the party at my house. I walked in and told everyone we were engaged. It was nice to have my aunt and her family, my grandparents and some other family members there so I could tell them all in person. Jill was snapping pictures as I told my aunt, cousins, and grandparents how it happened. It was a great night!!!

So that's how it happened. I couldn't believe how he suprised me. He did such a good job of leading me to believe it wouldn't happen for a while. It was so amazing that it was a suprise. I loved it and I am so excited that I am getting married! Larry is amazing!!! I am such a lucky girl to be getting married to the most incredible guy ever!

Us after we made the announcement

Telling everyone how he did it!
