I don't know about all of you, but I was completely shocked when I watched American Idol and David Cook won! I mean yeah they were both great singers and yes they both will have great careers but let's be honest... David Archuleta is a stud!!! He is soooo good. He has been America's favorite all along. 12 million votes? really? he lost by that much? I don't know if I really believe that. I think Archuleta should have won for sure...Yes, I guess you could consider me a crazy Archuleta fan. I was completely shocked and wanted to cry for him . He was probably crushed when they read the name. Poor Kid... He did so did so much better then cook last night... when me and Jill were watching it, we were feeling bad for Cook because Archuleta was so on. We even made the comment that Cook was probably crying in the bathroom because he got "knocked out." I guess we were wrong.
But I was making some cds with my friend teri and Cook did sing alot of really good songs this season. He really did great. Especially with Billy Jean and the Phantom...
As you all probably see, I can't make up my mind about this. I LOVE Archuleta (as you can see by my songs on the play list) but at the same time...Cook is a dang good singer.
It's good to know that in the long run it probably really didn't matter who won... They will both be HUGE stars and sing tons of Hit songs. But there are still some questions I have.
1. Do you think Archuleta will serve an LDS mission now?
2. When Simon said,"we have witnessed a knock out" did that make Cook fans want to prove simon wrong so they voted more?
3. Do you all wish you Voted for Archuleta more? cuz I do...
Well, at least this season was a good season (unlike the taylor hicks or fantasia seasons). They were both amazing singers. Yeah I wanted Archuleta to win but really it didn't matter because they were both so Awesome! Yay for AMERICAN IDOL!!!

You're a dork!... but I agree. :) I think it was Heavenly Father stepping in and not allowing his lil innocent Archuletta to be enveloped in the evil Hollywood world. CALLED TO SERVE DAVID!!! Get out there buddy!!! I love them both! Loved Cook from the very beginning. Good season... good season...
Amanda... I found your blog through Jill and Nat - but heres the deal. Because David is so famous now... he will most likely not be able to serve a mission. That is why Donny Osmond was not able to go is because he was so famous and it would be hard for the missionaries he served with and the people he taught because of his fame - so I think he will serve a mission through his music. But who knows :) Its good to know that you are on here though - so now I can be look at your updates and see how you are doing! :)
I thought for sure Archuletta would win. I thought there would be no contest. I haven't watched much this season but every time I did. I could tell Archuletta was awesome. I really need to find cooks version of phantom. I've heard it was awesome, but I didn't get to hear it.
